⇒ Block Paving Driveway: This has to be the most popular driveway solution that our customers choose. Block paving driveways not only look great, they also add significant amount of value to your property.
⇒ Tarmac Driveway: Often thought as the cheapest method of surfacing a driveway but sometimes can work out dearer than block paving, especially in small areas. Newly laid bitmac can be walked upon immediately after rolling however on driveways it is recommended to allow at least 24hrs for the surface to cool before driving any vehicles on it. Extra care should be taken for up to a week after tarmac installation as sudden acceleration or sharp turning can scuff or the driveway which can be impossible to repair.
⇒ Gravel Driveway: Harder granites are usually a good choice for driveways such as magnesium limestone and granite as they are not easily crushed. This is a reasonably cheap installation and the sub-base allows you to overlay with a different surface such as block paving, in the future. Although this type of driveway may need 'topping up' each year, it is a popular product to keep burglars away due to the crunching noise when it is walked or driven over.
