Redwood Timber Decking with Lighting Runcorn
This project was to install redwood timber decking with lighting in Runcorn.
Firstly we installed a decking frame using treated heavy duty timber fixed using steel brackets. We then installed concrete posts required to attach decking frame to support and prevent timber touching floor to minimise possible long-term rotting. Our next step was to install lawn edging / mowing edge and then continued with the decking by installing geotextile membrane over decking frame to prevent weed growth and stop food going down under decking. Once this was complete we installed the redwood timber decking. After we began installing the lighting system by installing a remote system, a double pole rotary Isolator for safety and maintenance and finally 5 double outdoor sockets for 4 x light kits plus 1 on a separate unit for the water feature. This installation also included the laying of 2.5mm 3 core armed cable to sockets buried along side of the fence.
